In the Pskov region, the police opened an administrative case under the article on the dissemination of knowingly unreliable information under the guise of reliable information (part 9 of article 13.15 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) against Nikolai Kuzmin, an activist of the local branch of the Yabloko party. this on its website . reports The magazine 7×7
The reason for initiating the case was the publication of Kuzmin in VKontakte. As the activist said in a conversation with 7×7, in a post, according to doctors, he spoke about the lack of ventilators and specialists in the Pskov infectious diseases hospital.
In the case file, according to 7x7, the police point out that Kuzmin “publicly stated the fact that in the event of a surge in the disease, patients will have to rely only on the hidden resources of their own body.”
At the same time, the file contains a response from the head physician of the Pskov city hospital, Alexei Vasiliev, to a police request. It follows from the answer that on March 15–16 (Kuzmin published his post on March 16) there was one functional ventilator in the hospital. According to the doctor, this is in line with the standards. Vasiliev added that as of April 1, there were already 4 devices in the hospital.
As Kuzmin himself told 7×7 magazine, in his publication, based on information about the lack of ventilators and specialists, he concluded that patients would have to rely only on their immunity. Thus, according to the activist, he wanted to emphasize the urgency of equipping the infectious diseases hospital with ventilators.
The activist considers the case politically motivated and suggests that in this way they are trying to put pressure on him because of his publications.
