Police in Yekaterinburg filed a protocol against the former coordinator of Navalny's local headquarters, Yuri Kuzminykh, for organizing a failed rally against the governor of the Sverdlovsk region. This was reported in the telegram channel "Apology of Protest".
The man is charged with an article on repeated violation of the rules for holding a mass event (part 8 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). This article implies arrest up to 30 days.
According to the protocol published by Apology of Protest, Kuzminykh on the page of Navalny’s local headquarters “in order to agitate and attract citizens to participate in an unauthorized mass event in the form of a rally, the purpose of which was to express an opinion in favor of the resignation of the governor of the Sverdlovsk region E. V. Kuyvashev, posted video “Rally against Kuyvashev in the swamp?”, “Navalny's headquarters in Yekaterinburg”, “Rally on June 16 in the swamp? We refuse and go to court“, to view an indefinite circle of people ...”.
The rally itself did not take place. The city administration refused to approve the action, and its holding was canceled. Presumably, the trial will also take place on April 21.
