Dear editors!
Our Russian people, like most of humanity, live in conditions of restrictions related to the pandemia Covid-19. In Moscow, a checkpoint was introduced for travel to work and other need. Some are outraged: the mayor of Moscow, they say, has no right to introduce such restrictions on his power. But these people under the cover of chatter on the violation of constitutional rights sow dissatisfaction with the authorities and undermine their efforts to curb the epidemic in the calculation of weakening Russia. The evil coronavirus has already inflicted a serious blow to our country, not allowing us to support presidential amendments to the Constitution. And now, according to our wonderful actor Vladimir Mashkov, the territorial integrity of the country is threatened and our history can be distorted. Therefore, we will not give in to provocations, we will stay at home and, if necessary, order pass.
In this difficult time, the whole world pays tribute to medical workers, drivers, couriers and representatives of other professions who expose their health and life itself to the risk in order to make the rest to live. I want to say that we forget about two more categories of workers who also make every effort to continue life: politicians and officials. These are people who have a huge responsibility for making decisions, work more intensely in the heavy year than at the usual time.
To what extent they expose their life at risk, you can see the example of British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who not so long ago in intensive care. Thank God, after a visit to the hospital in Kommunark, our beloved leader is not more careful for an example: he runs the country from his residence and everyone who contacts him, is tested daily to coronavirus, Dmitry Peskov assures us.
But let's move from the most prominent and large world figures to less significant. The ministries and departments are giant work aimed at combating coronavirus. Congratulating the fellow citizens with Easter, our president highly appreciated this work: "All levels of power work in rhythmically, organized, responsibly." As a result, despite the daily identified thousands of cases, the situation is under full control. I have no doubt that in the future the situation will be under full control, that our officials will be able to maintain mortality from a damned disease at a much lower level than in other countries.
However, officials work without turning hands in all areas. A huge load lies on our ministry. How will the situation with the training of students develop, what will happen to the exams? Here, perhaps, are the most burning questions facing him. And it is necessary to solve them, as they say, changing the horses at the crossing: in recent weeks, the leadership of the Ministry of Education and Science has been seriously updated, and probably the process of replacing effectively working officials with even more efficiently working will continue.
And of course, in addition to parsing a cart of problems caused by a coronavirus infection, the ministry also faces other tasks set by challenges of the time and instructions of the President of Russia. In particular, at the end of March, Vladimir Vladimirovich set the task for the government to “ consider the issue of designing and creating in the Russian Federation a fundamentally new promising source of synchrotron radiation, which is superior in terms of technical characteristics, existing and designed foreign analogues ”. I hope that no virus will prevent Mikhail Valentinovich from getting another “megaigrushka” for the benefit of science. The president also instructed to organize the work “ on uniting the closest ones in nature to be solved by federal state educational organizations of higher education and scientific organizations, regardless of their departmental affiliation, taking into account the features of the development of sectors of the economy and the social sphere of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation ”. I can imagine how some middle-aged colleagues, having come out of prolonged self-isolation, will find that they are no longer working at the Academic Institute, but in some center of superiority of the Nanonauke University of Nanonau. Believe me, my dear colleagues, the virus is not a hindrance to the reformatting of academic science!
