The federal platform for issuing digital passes will be implemented in 21 constituent entities of the Russian Federation. These regions themselves applied for connection to it, the Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications reported.
At the first stage, seven regions will connect to the platform: Kostroma, Tula, Tambov, Yaroslavl, Vladimir, Belgorod and Oryol regions. From next week, 14 more regions of the Volga region, Siberia, the Far East and the North Caucasus will be added to them.
The technology will work on the basis of the STOP Coronavirus State Services mobile application from the Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications, which is already being used to issue digital passes in the Moscow region (another technological solution has been introduced in Moscow). It provides for the submission of applications for passes through the portal of public services.
As a result of piloting the decision of the Ministry of Communications of Russia in the Moscow Region, since April 13, 2020, more than 900 thousand permanent digital passes have been issued, about 400 thousand one-time passes are issued daily. Technologies of interaction with the system of digital passes of the city of Moscow have been worked out.
