Denis Volchek, a businessman, former State Duma deputy and city legislator, was detained in St. Petersburg. This is reported by "Fontanka" without reference to sources.
On the morning of April 22, employees of the central office of the FSB of Russia arrived at Volchek's country house. They seized the businessman's phones and computer, and he himself was taken to Moscow.
According to Fontanka, Volchek is involved in a criminal case initiated by the Investigative Committee of Moscow. Details of the case are unknown to the publication.
Denis Volchek's father, Gennady, told Znak.com that he did not know about the detention.
