In Kaliningrad, the prosecutor's office approved the indictment in the criminal case against the neurosurgeon of the children's regional hospital, the department said . The doctor is suspected of "providing services that do not meet safety requirements that entailed by negligence of the death of a person" and "forgery of a document". The criminal case was sent to the court.

According to investigators, in February 2019, a 15-fly patient was taken to the children's regional hospital, the treatment of which was engaged in the neurosurgeon Peter Litvinenko.
