Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin fired Dmitry Ovsyannikov, deputy head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, after a scandal at the Izhevsk airport. This was reported in the telegram channel of the United Russia party.
Earlier, Ovsyannikov was expelled from United Russia and suspended from work. “Ovsyannikov’s behavior at the Izhevsk airport does not and cannot be justified. No one, and even more so a person holding such a position, has the right to behave in such a boorish way, ”said Andriy Turchak, Secretary of the Party General Council.
In early April, a report was drawn up against the official for violating public order in Izhevsk, where he burst into obscene language in response to a request from a local airport employee to present a boarding pass.
