Maxim Martintsov, a defendant in the “Moscow case,” was transferred to Bashkortostan

The person involved in the "Moscow case" Maxim Martintsov, sentenced to two and a half years in prison, is in SIZO-5 in Bashkortostan. This was reported to OVD-Info by his mother Galina Martintsova. According to her, he will stay in Bashkortostan for about ten days, then he should be transferred to the Bryansk region to serve his sentence in the region of registration.

Earlier it was reported that Martintsov began to have health problems. However, he was not provided with the necessary medical assistance.

• In early December 2019, the court sentenced Maksim Martintsov to two and a half years in a penal colony, Yegor Lesnykh to three years in a penal colony, and Alexander Mylnikov to a two-year suspended sentence. According to the investigation, Martintsov, Lesnykh and Mylnikov during the action on July 27 began to kick the National Guard Maxim Kosov, and then knocked him to the sidewalk. They were accused of using violence against a government official (Part 1 of Article 318 of the Criminal Code).
• On July 27, 2019, protests were held in Moscow in support of independent candidates in the elections to the Moscow City Duma, during which, according to OVD-Info, were detained 1,373 people . Three days after the action, the Investigative Committee opened a criminal case on the riots. Several people have already been sentenced to real terms on charges of using violence against the police and the National Guard.
