Petersburg: The doctor of the Alexander Hospital died from Koronavirus

In St. Petersburg in the Botkin hospital, a neurosurgeon Alexei Filippov died, who was confirmed by the diagnosis of coronavirus. It is reported by Fontanka with reference to the healthcare committee.

The publication clarifies that Filippov worked as the head of the neurosurgery department in the Alexander Hospital. The 51-year-old physician was a neurosurgeon of the highest category with more than 20 years of experience.

Also, the Health Committee confirmed the information about the death of three nurses of different hospitals in the city. The committee stated that the dead were either sick of "other serious illnesses that led to death, or they were not infected in the performance of labor duties."
