Patients with oncological diseases have created a petition "Covid-19 not at the expense of cancer patients." They ask not to re -profile the NMIC of oncology. N. N. Petrova to take coronavirus patients, since most patients with cancer breaks the break in treatment.
"The center of N. N. Petrova is one of the last types of oncological diseases open to the administration and treatment of patients from all kinds of oncological diseases from all over Russia and the CIS countries ... We, patients, want to throw it out into the street in May 2020. In the regions, it is impossible to get the appropriate high -tech treatment. And the interruption of treatment for the protocols approved by the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation threatens life and health. In connection with this, we are not re -profile. The center of N. N. Petrov to the hospital for the treatment of patients with coronavirus infection! - says in the petition.

A resident of the Karelian Sortavala Larisa Tymoshchenko is treated in the center. Petrova from lymphoma, she is one of the coordinators of the initiative group opposing the re -profiling of the clinic.
- I now have the third course of chemotherapy, there are four of them - these are preliminary, further treatment strategy will depend on their result. And the governor of St. Petersburg Beglov decided to reprofile several federal institutions under Koronavirus, including our oncocenter. So, we will all have to go somewhere. Where - we do not know. Indeed, in our clinic we are almost all of the regions, and someone just has nowhere to go back because of quarantine-their institutions were reprofiled, someone came here for the last hope, because everything was bad at home. There is no such high -tech help, such high -class specialists, such drugs that are needed in the treatment of certain diseases. Each of us has its own treatment regimen - for example, we made a course, left, sit on self -isolation, because we are at risk, we have no immunity at all. Our deadline is suitable - we come here again, now we still need to provide the coronavirus test. And we go to the next course, and if we move in some direction, this is death. That is, to reprofile our center is to practically sign the death sentence to us. At first they said that everything has already been decided. Now they say that they will reproduce only in the event of a sharp deterioration in the situation. But they will not do this in one day, we will be kicked out of here much earlier. We believe that cancer patients cannot be touched at all. Today we were told a story about a woman who traveled all the clinics of St. Petersburg, and she could not buy chemotherapy anywhere. This is chaos. We remained the last. There is a permanent stream, there are never free places, 1,200 people are treated a month.
And where will all these people who need treatment in life indications go?
And where will all these people who need treatment in life indications go? While empty beds will stand here, and the authorities will report that it is ready to accept coronavirus patients. The city has a platform where you can deploy hospitals, but you need to invest money there, but here everything is ready-and high-class resuscitators and Ivl devices. Why invest - throw out cancer patients out into the street, and that’s it! We are not against the salvation of coronavirus patients - we just want to live too. Our doctors are also worried, but they are all liable for military service, they signed the paper that they have nothing against. Now they tell us: do not worry, while everything is still, and if they decide to re-profile, we will notify you. But then it will be too late! We are afraid of the situation when we drive up to the clinic, and there everything is cordoned off - and coronavirus. We are told that radiation therapy will be preserved-but we have chemistry! We need beds, specialists, medicines and droppers.

Tatyana Gatsenko comes to be treated to the N. N. Petrov center from the Krasnodar Territory every two weeks.
Treatment has already begun, and stop it in the middle is unrealistic
- So I made a course of high -dose chemotherapy, on April 28 I fly out again. And then I looked on the site announcement that the center could be re -profile, my heart was beating right. They could not make a diagnosis at home - they made only in January, when I arrived here. The treatment has already begun, and it is unrealistic to stop it in the middle. The lymphoma is not killed at all, but to kill it, you need at least three courses of chemotherapy. And then there will be computed tomography, and according to its results, either six more chemists, or bone marrow transplant. We are not doing this. I was prescribed on a consultation in Krasnodar a medicine registered in the state federal program, it is expensive, 60 thousand costs, its state pays, and it comes to my pharmacy. But first, he must be discharged from his oncologist in the village. The last time I come - and she does not want to write it out. I had to call a hot line, then they brought me a recipe home. But you can’t live all the time - such are the problems in the field. If we were treated with us, it would be much easier for me to go to Krasnodar for 160 kilometers, and not to St. Petersburg. But it turns out that besides this clinic, I have nowhere to go. People from Vladivostok, from Vologda, Kaliningrad from all over the country lie with me. Here the entire first floor is children, many young people: they say that lymphoma is often a young tumor. Well, okay, I’m 60, but there are those who are 20, 30 years old - what, we also leave them to the embrasure, let them die?

Oncological patients and so experience stresses from a poor organization of treatment, says Tatyana , who is treated not in the Petrov center, but nearby, in the GBUZ "St. Petersburg Clinical Scientific and Practical Center for Specialized Types of Medical Assistance (Oncological)" in the same sandy.
This attitude is initially to us: why treat, they will die anyway
- The city did not purchase medicine in time, they ordered everyone to sit at home, and oncological patients had to go here almost every day after these medicines and sit in huge lines. This is a mess and an attitude towards people as a rush material. And why does our government say that there are drugs, but they are not issued? But if they close the center named after Petrov, I think that the city oncocenter, which is nearby, simply cannot cope with the load, a lot of people will die. But this attitude is initially towards us: why treat, they will die anyway. Even in the clinic, when you come to the oncologist, the impression is that he will never get sick, and you just came to him with a runny nose.
Victoria is also treated in the KNPC in sand, and she also believes that you need to be a very healthy person to withstand this treatment.
- There are so many scraps, so many queues - to take a doctor, behind the drug, to pass the commission. It is necessary to collect so many documents, go through so many floors, corridors and cabinets. That is, one day before chemotherapy, you go completely on the red tape and only on the second day you are put under a dropper. I went through all this, barely dragging on crutches, and they did not want to let the accompanying person that helped me. Then - there are no drugs, then they do not make an injection without a certificate of coronavirus. In the clinic, this is a very long time, I did an analysis for a fee - the result after three days. But I don’t understand, can I not become infected during these three days and come to the patient's oncocenter? At first, there were still huge lines on the entrance in connection with the coronavirus, people were forced to fill out questionnaires on the street in a tarpaulin tent, but now this is no longer. In St. Petersburg, there are very few places where you can treat the compulsory medical insurance - where will they all go? They will die - at least those who do not have relatives to fight for them.
Veronica 35, it is treated in the center. N. N. Petrova paid from Kazakhstan.
- In Kazakhstan, we do not have a resource for quality treatment, so I chose Petersburg. Today, my doctor told me that our center was deleted from the list of reserve clinics to receive coronavirus patients, but I did not find confirmation of her words in official sources. I don’t know, maybe the petition still helped. Indeed, for cancer patients, sometimes one day of downtime can be critical. It seems that they wanted to leave only the radiation case - and what to do for those who need an urgent operation? The scale of the disaster would be terrible. And the consequences of quarantine are already there already - today I had to have therapy, but my drug is not, now I'm looking for it. At the end of May, I have planned an operation - just at the time when they planned to redesign the clinic. For me, this is an urgent question.
The press secretary of the head of the Center named after N. N. Petrova Irina Stolyarova assures that the re-profiling of the clinic for receiving coronavirus patients is only a project, and there is no order of the Government of the Russian Federation on the inclusion of the clinic in the list of federal centers intended for the treatment of patients infected with coronavirus.
However, at the disposal of the authors of the petition there is a message screen on the official website of the St. Petersburg Administration, which says that there is already a draft of such an order with a list of seven institutions - and there is a Petrov Center in this list.

“We are very waiting for this resolution and hope that we will not enter there,” says Irina Stolyarova. - We are assured that this is only a project. The federal leadership decides everything, but we do not have a document from the Ministry of Health. But we were told that in the event of a catastrophic situation, we will be forced to take coronavirus patients, like all other medical institutions. All the same, after all, we will not be able to work everywhere and work in normal mode. Yes, we have to make plans for reprofiling, because if they tell us at the end of May: tomorrow these patients will be taken to you, we will not be able to prepare so quickly. But in any case, we will carry out radiation therapy, this is our case with 50 seats. And the case with 350 seats will be re -profile for Covid - if they tell us that we are on the list.
- And those patients who will not perform surgery or chemotherapy will die?
70% of patients from our regions, it will be difficult for them to find an adequate replacement. Their forecast may worsen
- He will be offered treatment at the place of residence. It is clear that the necessary treatment can not be provided everywhere, our level is much higher than in the ordinary regional dispensary, 70% of patients from the regions, of course, will be difficult for them to find an adequate replacement. It is clear that their forecast may worsen. Our doctors are already advising oncologists at the place of residence of our patients, provide them with methodological assistance. That is, we do not throw them. We do everything we can. Of course, our experienced doctors with golden hands would like to continue to treat oncological patients. But they are liable for military service, and the situation is now actually equal to the military - for us, inside. And if you need to go out and fight, they will do it. While we continue to work as before. We have detected two patients with coronavirus, the separation of urology and the surgical department of the tumors of the skin, bones and soft tissues are closed to quarantine. The asymptomatic patient was detected in the tumors of the head and neck, he is sent to the observator, the department is closed to the reception of patients. Another virus was confirmed by an employee of the children's department, and we also closed it until April 29. We sent 65+ doctors home, the rest we have to work hard. Our experts hope for the rationality of the authorities - regional and federal. We really hope that our re -profiling is only a project.
