In Udmurtia, a suspect appeared in a criminal case on arson of a public reception of United Russia - an employee of a private security company. This is reported by the publication “Idel. Realii” with reference to the Udmurt activist Timofey Klabukov.
According to several sources, an employee of one of the private security companies in Izhevsk was searched, the court placed him under house arrest. The Ministry of Internal Affairs does not comment on this information, Klabukov specified.
On April 20, late in the evening, the police came with a search to the activist Timofey Klabukov, they took a DNA test from him and confiscated his equipment and electronic media. Klabukov was interrogated as a witness in a criminal case under the article on hooliganism (part 1 of article 213 of the Criminal Code) in connection with an attempt by an unknown person to set fire to the United Russia reception.
On April 27, Klabukov was able to get acquainted with the materials of the case, from which it follows that the reason for the night search of the activist was his appearance on April 20 at the reception of United Russia. As Klabukov explains, he came to the building as a journalist and editor-in-chief of the Strizh online newspaper in order to sort out the situation, since the media reported that a criminal case had been opened on the fact of an arson attempt and a comment from the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs that they “ nothing is known about it."
Klabukov drew attention to the fact that, according to the materials of the case, he handed over the equipment seized as a result of the search voluntarily, and there were no comments on the search protocol, while in the search protocol, which is also in the file, he personally indicated in the “remarks” column that he did not want to give the equipment .
