Therapist Natalya Trofimova was fired from the Priozersk Interdistrict Hospital of the Leningrad Region. This is reported by the publication "MBH media" with reference to the doctor.

Trofimova was summoned to the head physician in the morning and offered to get acquainted with the documents, according to which she violated medical secrecy: without permission, she posted on VKontakte a photograph in which another doctor takes a swab from a patient.

Trofimova was asked to write an explanatory note, which, according to labor law, she could provide within two days. However, after a few hours she was called and fired "for disclosing medical secrets." “We won’t wait for anything, we won’t wait for any explanations. We are firing you and that’s all, ”Trofimov’s leadership conveys the words.

Natalya Trofimova is the leader of the Alliance of Doctors trade union in the Leningrad region. She said that one of the buildings of the Priozersk hospital was converted into an infectious disease hospital without informing the staff about it. Doctors reported the lack of personal protective equipment against coronavirus in the institution, published a petition on the Change.org website about this. Officials from the regional health committee said that doctors are lying, writes MBKh media.
