“I believe that the inaccurate information about the existing IVL devices, when they were absent, created a false sense of security in people, which entailed the collapse of the self -isolation index in the Pskov region, and influenced one of the highest mortality rates from coronavirus in Russia,” Kuzmin wrote in the statement.
The activist also asked officials for possible "abuse of authority in order to improve readiness for coronavirus pandemia." Kuzmin’s statement was accepted on April 27.
