The Skyeng online school, together with the Dobro Mail.ru service, launched the “Give Lessons to Children” campaign. For each course package purchased, the school will pay for additional lessons and tutors for children from orphanages and wards of charitable foundations.
The funds raised will be used to prepare teenagers from Arkhangelsk and St. Petersburg to take the Unified State Exam and enter their dream university, topay for tutors for children from foster families in Novosibirsk, as well as to provide additional education courses for children from orphanages in Kostroma.
The money will be distributed among the charitable foundations “Arithmetic of Good”, “Sunny City”, “April” and “Spring in the Heart”. After completing the collections, the funds will publish reports on the Dobro Mail.ru service.
“Children in orphanages are also in quarantine. For many orphans, our online classes are the only connection with the “big world”, an opportunity to communicate with someone outside the orphanage. Plus, we are very happy when people and brands turn towards the right help. Gifts, candy or tickets will not help orphans in life. They sorely lack knowledge, skills, and understanding of how this life works and what needs to be done to become successful in it,” commented Katerina Dmitrieva, development director of the Arithmetic of Good Foundation.
To take part in the promotion, you need to buy any package of lessons from Skyeng. From each package, the school will pay for five classes for children. These can be either career guidance courses or lessons with a tutor on the school curriculum and in preparation for the Unified State Exam.
