Petersburg: When paying to the coronavirus to doctors, they will take into account the "medical guilt"

The Government of St. Petersburg determined the procedure for appointing payments to doctors who suffered during assistance to patients with coronavirus. This is stated in the decision published on the city website. Payments will be assigned only after the investigation, it has a clause on the "wine of the medic" during infection.

The authorities of St. Petersburg plan to pay 1 million rubles to the families of doctors who died from the coronavirus, 500 thousand rubles-received disability due to infection, 300 thousand rubles to all the rest. The amount of subsidies is 30 million rubles. Now in St. Petersburg Koronavirus is confirmed by 250 doctors, 8 of them died.

The document states that the decision on the appointment of payment will be made after specially created commissions are investigated for each case. The commission will include deputy chief physician, head of the health worker (for example, the head of the department), a labor protection representative, a member of the trade union. The head doctor will approve the act.

The commission will have to determine what exactly caused the infection. Among the options, the document indicates: a violation of sanitary and operating conditions and working conditions, failure of ventilation systems, the absence or lack of personal protective equipment. The document has a paragraph in which the share of the employee’s guilt should be determined during infection - as a percentage.

The family of the deceased doctor will receive money if coronavirus will become his cause of death. If a person dies from concomitant diseases, then they will not be appointed payment.
