Senator, ex-mayor and governor of the Novosibirsk region Vladimir Gorodetsky appeared in the primaries of United Russia to the elections to the regional legislative assembly. He plans to nominate in the Pervomaisky district, in the district No. 35.
Gorodetsky’s data appeared on the electronic preliminary voting website “United Russia”. The policy of the Federation Council is indicated as a place of work, the position - deputy chairman of the committee on federal system, regional policy, local self -government and affairs of the North.
Also, the son of his first vice-speaker Andrei Panferova Evgeny and the current deputy Alexander Kozlov are planned to be elected to the regional parliament in this territory. Which of them will be elected in a single -mandate district, and who is on the lists is still unclear.
Vladimir Gorodetsky since 2000 was elected three times the mayor of Novosibirsk. On January 9, 2014, Governor Vasily Yurchenko appointed him his deputy for the development of agglomeration, which was perceived as an “honorary pension”, but after Yurchenko’s “Loss of Confidence”, Vladimir Putin appointed Gorodetsky Acting Governor. He won the elections in the first round without competition from the Communist Party, which previously defeated United Russia in the mayor's campaign. In October 2017, Putin resigned him and appointed the acting governor of the mayor of Vologda Andrei Travnikov. Gorodetsky became a senator from Travnikov.
Vladimir Gorodetsky supported all the scandalous bills of 2018–2019: on raising the retirement age, on “fake news” and disrespect for power, as well as isolation of the Russian Internet segment. In 2018, he declared an income of 6.5 million rubles.
Taiga.info wrote earlier that United Russia will hold primaries before the elections of the City Council of Novosibirsk and the Legislative Assembly of the region. The party preferred an open model, in contrast to the preliminary vote to nominate a candidate for governors.
In September 2020, the elections of the City Council of Novosibirsk (50 single -mandate districts) and the Legislation of the region (38 districts and 38 seats on party lists) should be held
