Levada Center: In April, Putin's rating sank to a historical minimum

The Kremlin said that they were not inclined to trust the results of the study of Putin’s rating, which was held by the Levada Center. This was stated by Presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov, Interfax reports.

“We have repeatedly said that they have different methods, we are not inclined to completely trust the results of these polls,” Peskov said.

According to him, "there are other surveys that give a different picture."

In April, the rating of the approval of President Vladimir Putin sank to a historical minimum-up to 59%, this was stated in a survey of Levada Center.

At the same time, sociologists emphasize that they conducted a survey exclusively by the method of telephone interviews, because in reality the level of approval of the president may be even lower.

“Thus, when reading the results of the survey given below, it is possible and should be taken into account the likelihood of a hypothetical“ decrease ”of the indicator of certain mass installations in comparison with personal surveys,” they plugged in the Levada Center.

So 59% of respondents approve of Putin’s activities as heads of state, they do not approve - 33%. The activities of Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin approve of 46% and do not approve of 23%.

The survey was conducted on April 24-27. A month before, the survey by personal interview gave approval indicators of 63% - as in 2013, before the accession of Crimea to Russia. Prior to this, the minimum level of approval of Putin was recorded in June 2000 and November 2013 - 61%.
