Also on Facebook there was a group in support of Sushkevich, which is conducted by neonatologist Ekaterina Gordeeva.

- I understand well that not all of my former colleagues have the opportunity to openly express their opinion on this matter. Therefore, I decided to create a group where I will lay out scientific facts in defense of Elina. This was especially true when, at the first preliminary session of the court, Elina was again forbidden to communicate on the Internet, ”said Gordeeva.

Representatives of the professional community previously acted as a doctor. The petition in support Sushkevich has already gained more than 247 thousand signatures.

On April 30, preliminary court hearings were held in Kaliningrad in the case of the death of a baby in the hospital No. 4 in November 2018. The former head physician of the maternity hospital Elena Bely and the resuscient-anesthetist of the regional perinatal center Elin Sushkevich is accused of killing the baby. A premature boy was born to a visiting visit from Uzbekistan. A few hours later he died. Investigators are confident that Belaya, as the head physician of the hospital, decided to kill a premature newborn, and Sushkevich introduced the child a deadly dose of magnesium.

Before the hearing, Sushkevich held an online meeting with Kaliningrad journalists, where she announced the incorrect conclusions of the investigation and her innocence.

At the end of April, the court was extended by Sushkevich and the White Home arrest until October. And also banned Sushkevich to use the Internet, said Elena Beloya Timur Marshani's lawyer.
