But if you look from a professional point of view, here you can create and experiment with everything: image, installation! Father liked it, ”the director recalled.

Direct speech:
About admission to VGIK: “This is probably one of the main decisions of the father. Because in childhood, he practically did not take part in the formation of my hobbies: art school, circles - it was all without it. And with VGIK it turned out quite hard - he got behind the wheel, came to MGIMO, where I wanted to go and drove me to VGIK. I then told him: "Maybe I don’t need, I still go into the army for two years. Do you want to try in two years?" And he replies: "No, now." After all, I really went into the army and, by and large, I did not care, because I could go even into exploration. ”
About the wife of Svetlana Bondarchuk: “She studied at school when we met. I saw and immediately realized that it was my woman. And she says, immediately felt: "This guy will be my husband!" <...> Svetlana socially connected person. Very. We have a swamp square every morning at breakfast. ”
About fights : “We had the entire course exceptionally pungent. There was one wonderful brewer next to the institute, and when everyone received a scholarship, they carried it there without fail. On the ground floor there often walked gypsies, and on the second - our student international. And then, when we started singing, then after the first five or six songs, the musical people usually rose to us and asked to stop ... “Don’t eat, black raven” usually all began for some reason. The chairs began to fly, blood sprayed on the dishes ... Fun! A rare month did without close communication with doctors from the traumatic center and good police officers. And now ... Now you need to try very hard to get me out of my extent that I get into a fight. Probably, if you insult a woman with me, rude with her - here I can break. ”
About scraps: “I believe that the country should have a national idea. That the anthem, flag, military duty, patriotism, the memory of ancestors are very, very important. That in schools you need to introduce a religious education, because it helps children to become better, more honest and more decent. That a real citizen must sacrifice himself if his country is in danger, since the citizen’s debt is often higher than human rights. Apparently, I did not liberal, but the fact is that I actually believe in it. At one time, I went to the army for two years - you think I did not have the opportunity to echo? Father and mother, of course, really did not want to let me go there, but I would not respect myself if I had not fulfilled my duty. ”
