Pole commented on the outbreak of coronavirus on the Olympiadian GOK

The outbreak of coronavirus occurred at the Olympiadin Mining and Processing Plant of the Gold-Providing Corporation Pole in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The tests of most employees were negative.

“During the continuous testing of all employees of the Olympiadian GOK and contracting organizations on the Covid-19, several dozen employees now received positive results. The vast majority of workers with a positive result have no symptoms of the disease. All of them have been working on the shift for a long time and have passed daily medical examinations, ”said the press service of Taiga.info.

Cooperations without symptoms remain on the quarantine on the industrial site under the supervision of doctors. Those who have the symptoms showed are hospitalized.

“In accordance with the recommendations for organizing the work of the rotational method, starting in April, all the watchmen are undergoing mandatory laboratory testing on Covid-19 before being sent to watch. Admission to the Olympiadin GOK is carried out only after obtaining a negative result of a laboratory examination and in the absence of signs of the disease, ”the company added.

The Krasnoyarsk Clinical Hospital sent 10 doctors, additional drugs and personal protective equipment to the GOK.

The regional headquarters of counteraction to the coronavirus announced on May 9 that 89 cases of infection were confirmed at the Pole enterprise. The company itself said that in the entire North-Seniseisk there are 89 sick people, among whom there are its employees.
