The government allocated 80 billion rubles to companies that retained at least 90% of their employees

The government has allocated 81.1 billion rubles from the reserve fund to support small and medium-sized businesses that have suffered from the coronavirus epidemic . The order was published on the government website.

The aid will be provided to those companies that retained at least 90% of their employees. Payments will be made at the rate of 12.1 thousand rubles (the minimum wage) per employee.

This money can be used to pay salaries and solve priority tasks.

According to the Cabinet of Ministers, 970 thousand companies can count on government subsidies.

  • Due to the coronavirus epidemic, most enterprises and companies in Russia are temporarily closed. According to government estimates, by April 21, 2.1 trillion rubles had been spent on supporting the economy (including deferrals of loans and taxes).
