FSUE "Radon" allocated 75.3 million rubles for a study for compliance with the requirements of the radiation safety of the territory near the Moskvorechye railway platform, where the construction of the southeastern chord is planned. The corresponding tender "MBH Media" found on the portal of public procurement.

The documents say that it will be necessary to check 11.5 hectares of the territory between the Kolomenskoye museum-reserve, the Moscow Moskvorechye railway platform and the Moscow Polymetallov plant. It is noted that there are local areas of radioactive pollution and two landfills of construction and household garbage, as well as landslides and flooding are possible.

The documents also say that “the access of citizens to the site of the work is free”, although earlier the police and employees of the ChOP repeatedly prevented activists who tried to go to the territory. On March 19, more than 60 people were detained near the Moskvorechye platform.

It is noted that the study will go in two stages: the first - geodetic, geological and other research, the second is the development and coordination of the concept of work in the territory. The first stage should be completed on August 5, the second - December 25. “Purpose: to ensure the environmental safety of the territory,” the documentation says.

The section of the southeastern chord is planned to be built at the site of the storage of radioactive waste. Ecologists and local residents are opposed to construction, because when the burial ground is opened, infected dust will spread throughout the city, and also get into the river. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin also recognized the presence of radioactive waste on the route of the southeastern chord.

At the Moskvorechye platform, activists established round -the -clock duty to control the level of radiation. On February 9, activists discovered the excess of sensors by 60 times. In March, representatives of the FSUE Radon wrote a statement to the police on the damage to the sensor for 1 million rubles, which recorded the very excess. A criminal case was opened, in which activist Alexander Kolotov was a search. On March 19, the police detained 60 people who protested against the construction of Horda.
