Russia "approached the mitigation of the restriction regime" introduced in connection with the epidemic of coronaviral infection. This was stated on May 11 President Vladimir Putin at a meeting with the government.

According to Putin, the introduction of the so -called regime of self -isolation and non -working days made it possible to slow down the spread of infection.

At the same time, on May 11, the largest number of new infected per day was revealed for all the time. Putin made it clear that the reason for the growth of identified cases of infection, including in the growth of the number of tests.

As Putin said, the introduction of the self -isolation regime at the end of March allowed to win the time to prepare the healthcare system for the peak of the epidemic. According to the president, this made it possible to preserve "thousands of lives."

Putin said that the regime of non -working days from May 12 will not be extended throughout Russia. Putin said that from May 12 the work of industrial enterprises should resume.

Putin announced a new package of support measures of citizens and business.

The minimum size of the child care manual will be doubled - it will be more than 6 thousand rubles. All families with children under 3 years old will pay 5 thousand rubles for 3 months.

Families with children from 3 to 16 years old will be paid one -time assistance in the amount of 10 thousand rubles.

Exactly such an amount proposed to pay families with children in his plan "5 steps for Russia" oppositionist Alexei Navalny. However, he proposed to pay 20 thousand for each adult - such a decision was not made.

Putin said that for each child from 3 to 15, 10 thousand rubles will be paid. The correct measure from our "5 steps" program. Only for each adult it is necessary to pay 20 thousand rubles. And to the children to pay everyone: from 0 to 18.

Putin also announced preferential loans for enterprises and organizations that will not reduce employees about the tax deduction for individual entrepreneurs.

The decision on a specific schedule of quarantine will be made by regional authorities. In particular, in Moscow, from May 12, industry and construction enterprises will begin to work, while walks and movement of people without good reason will still be prohibited. According to the Russian BBC service, in the second half of May, quarantine in Moscow can weaken.

According to Putin, the mitigation of restrictions should be phased. “There will be no way out of the restriction regime,” the president said. He emphasized that mass events will still be prohibited throughout the country. Putin still urged elderly people to stay at home.

Turning to the Russians at the end of his speech, Putin said that they had already “did a lot and defeated a lot,” and urged them to observe precautions to avoid infection.
