The head physician of the Botkin Clinical Hospital in Moscow, Alexei Shabunin, was infected with coronavirus, according to the Medical Education page on Facebook.

“At the first symptoms of malaise, I handed over tests, after receiving a positive result, I self -isolated in the office and continue to work around the clock in compliance with all anti -epidemiological measures. The hospital fully performs the tasks assigned to it to provide emergency medical care, as well as assistance to cancer, hematological and covid patients, ”Shabunin said.

He also noted that over the past time, his communication with colleagues takes place exclusively in video conferences. According to him, the hospital continues to assist as patients with COVID-19, as well as oncological and hematological patients.
