As clarifies RIA Novosti , the official is in the hospital. Peskov's wife Tatyana Navka told the Daily Storm that she was also hospitalized with coronavirus.

In April, journalists noticed that Peskov was wearing a “virus blocker” on his jacket, the effectiveness of which has not been scientifically proven. The official assured that he bought it himself at the pharmacy. “You know, everyone now wears everything they can from the point of view of some kind of preventive means,” he explained. The next day, the press secretary showed up at work without the “blocker.”
