The number of inhabitants with suspected coronavirus increased sharply in the Toguchinsky district of the Novosibirsk region. The regional authorities announced the hospitalization of 13 people, although reports about the sick appeared before the May holidays, and dozens of people could be in isolation.

At the same time, in the official group of the Toguchinsky Central District Hospital in VKontakte, on May 7, they announced that 13 cases of coronavirus were registered in the area, and one patient died. Another 69 people were on isolation.

On April 22, the head physician of the Central District Hospital Elena Ryabchikova said that medical supervision was established for 66 who arrived in the district. Another 101 people lived with them.

At the same time, on May 9, judging by the site of the district administration, events were held in Toguchin in honor of Victory Day, which the authorities refused to consider "massive".

The total official number of cases of infection with coronavirus are 1226, of which 77 children registered in the region. 338 people recovered, 16 - died.
