The Novosibirsk government has announced a competition for the creation of the anthem of the region. The authors must prepare not only the “life -affirming” text, but also the explanatory note.

The Ministry of Culture announced a competition to create an anthem of the region, the press service of the regional government on May 12 said. Applications are accepted from September 1 to October 15, 2020.

The authors must come up with the text and music of the anthem. In addition, they will prepare an explanatory note with the “presentation of the idea of ​​the project”. The character of the anthem should be “solemn, patriotic and life -affirming”, the published order of the Ministry of Culture said.

The organizing committee of the competition included the acting The Minister of Culture Yuri Zimnyakov, other officials, the Philharmonic artist Vladimir Kaluzhsky, director of the local history museum Andrei Shapovalov, head of the regional Institute of Monitoring and Development of Education, ex-minister of culture Natalya Yaroslavtseva and others.

The draft of the anthem that won the competition will be transferred to the Heraldic Commission under the Government of the region.
