The structure of "Rostec" experiences shields with built -in "injuries" by order of security forces

The Research Institute of Applied Chemistry, which is part of the Rostec State Corporation, conducts tests of the Legion shooting shield in the interests of one of the Russian power structures. This was reported by TASS with reference to the deputy director of the NIIPH Artyom Muranov.

“There is a typical product that we have developed, which is exported. In the interests of the internal customer, we are now conducting a set of tests. Depending on the wishes of the customer, according to the test results, if necessary, we can finalize it, ”Muranov said.

We are talking about the Legion shield developed in 2016. It has a built -in the traumatic pistol “OSA” with a cassette for 12 ammunition cartridges.

“There is a toggle switch on the handle. An employee of law enforcement agencies can protect himself and conduct active defense in the event of an unfavorable operational situation. There are also cartridges of traumatic, irritating, light sound - the toggle switch allows you to choose the type of cartridge used, ”Muranov explained.
