In Ufa, the prosecutor's office will inspect an orphanage where an employee humiliated children

In Bashkiria, the prosecutor's office will inspect an orphanage where a social worker abused children. This is reported on the department's website. The Investigative Committee (IC) of the republic also began its inspection.

According to the Investigative Committee, the social worker humiliated the children and told them to beat each other, using obscene language. She recorded her actions on videos, which she published on social networks. The employee accompanied the videos with captions: “A little about the wonderful work” and “I’m one of those teachers who know that a student will grow up to be a prostitute.”

Based on the results of the inspection, the Investigative Committee will evaluate the actions of the specialist who recorded the video, as well as the officials of the institution, including the fact of cruelty to minors. The Ufa prosecutor's office transferred the materials to the police for verification under Article 156 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (failure to fulfill obligations to raise a minor).

Children's Ombudsman of Bashkiria Milana Skorobogatova told RIA Novosti that psychologists are now working with children. Experts test them for possible psychological trauma. According to the Ombudsman, during the first examination it turned out that the children were not harmed. She noted that the duties of the employee who filmed the video included preparing documents, so her contact with the children was minimal.

The Ministry of Social Protection of the Republic noted that the employee had been working at the shelter since January and that this was her first place of work. The girl had never worked with children before. The author of the video has already been suspended from working at the shelter.
