Report of the organization "Family Territory" for the fourth quarter of 2019

“Territory of Family” is a Perm public organization that supports families with children who find themselves in difficult life situations, helps parents so that their children live in a family.

In the fourth quarter of 2019, “Territory of Family” continued systematic work to prevent social orphanhood in the Perm region. All assistance was aimed at preserving the child’s family of origin and preventing him from ending up in orphanages. Mostly families come to the Organization with problems of domestic violence and poverty. For such families in the Perm region, the Organization has a Comprehensive Family Center and opened the first crisis apartment for 2 people - a shelter for women with children who have experienced domestic violence, and its branch in the city of Kudymkar.

Your donations went to pay for the rent of the premises occupied by the Family Territory Integrated Family Center. At the Center, families in trouble receive free assistance from a lawyer and a psychologist, use a children's room, visit a mediator and a social warehouse . In total, during this time, 134 families raising 334 children received clothes and shoes, basic necessities, and household chemicals . During this period, 53 families were accompanied by social workers . A lawyer and a psychologist conducted 45 consultations . Two families lived in the crisis apartment .

One of these families is Vasilisa and her three children. The woman fled to Perm from a remote village, where she had not only no prospects, but also no basic rights. The woman was completely dependent on her husband and did all the menial work on the farm, which included a herd of horses, a herd of sheep, cows, chickens and two vegetable gardens.

Having decided to divorce and move with her children, Vasilisa faced active resistance from their father. Finding herself in a safe crisis apartment, at first Vasilisa did not find a place for herself - there was no need to run anywhere, she could relax without fear of anyone. Although Vasilisa was afraid of the city for a long time, because she spent her whole life in the village.

The work proceeded on two fronts - to save the children and create the foundation for an independent life. With the help of Family Territory, Vasilisa and her children began an independent life again, began working and renting their own apartment, having moved from a temporary shelter. The Perm Regional Court put an end to the long struggle for the children, leaving them with their mother. They are about to start kindergarten, and the eldest daughter is already going to school.

And back in December, the Family Territory team fulfilled their long-time dream and opened the first official charity store in Perm, TEPLO . All funds from the sale of items go directly to the Family Territory account and go to help the Organization’s wards and the development of systemic projects for the prevention of social orphanhood.

During the 4th quarter of 2019, we managed to collect 20,805 rubles for the Organization . Some of them - 17,755 rubles - are small monthly donations . Such donations help the Organization plan its work months in advance. They are debited from your bank card or PayPal once a month.
