In some regions of Russia, queues have formed at the branches of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation of those wishing to apply for payments for children aged three to 16 years, reports TASS .
Queues were observed in the Astrakhan region and the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Adygea and the Stavropol and Altai Territories.
“We explain that the self-isolation regime adopted in the republic has not been canceled. There is no need to stand in a live queue, breaking it. You can submit an application electronically, or you can wait for the rush to subside - applications are accepted until October 1 of this year inclusive, and there is time to do this,” said the press service of the Pension Fund for Adygea.
The payment can be processed in full on the State Services portal; you do not need to come to the branch for this. But on May 13, the portal could not cope with the influx of applications - Russian President Vladimir Putin reported that more than a million of them were received in one day. The Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications said that they have increased the capacity of the site, it works stably, RIA Novosti reports.
On May 11, Putin announced that from June 1, one-time payments of 10 thousand rubles will begin for each child from three to 16 years old, regardless of the level of income or whether the parents have a job. 5 thousand rubles a month from April to June will be paid not only to those families who are entitled to maternity capital, but to everyone who has children under three years old.
