The former head of Olympstroy Taimuraz Bolloev established the production of masks and protective costumes for security forces

In the BTK Group, in a record short time, the mines (Rostov Region) was made in the city of protective costumes and non -medical masks, which are now in high demand in connection with coronavirus.

“We produce fabrics for the Ministry of Defense - for protective equipment and workwear, which protects against the effects of chemicals, from viruses and the penetration of bacteria,” explains Kristina Sizyakina, the head of the Tekstil Tekstil weaving section.

It explains that the functionality of membrane three -layer tissues is achieved due to special processing and protection. According to Kirill Darovsky, the head of the knitwear section, the tissue receives an antibacterial coating that provides it with virus -resistance and allows it to use it more than once.

“You can erase many times, iron it with an iron - all protective properties are preserved,” the specialist explains.

Non-medical masks and protective costumes have already entered the hospitals of the Rostov region, where, at the request of the federal center, 2600 seats for patients Covid-19 should be opened.

In 2005, BTK Group was created by the founder and former president of the Baltika brewed giant Taimuraz Bolloev. He is considered a businessman close to Vladimir Putin since the time of work of the latter in the St. Petersburg City Hall. In the presidential election in 2000 and 2004, Bolloev was a confidant of Putin.

In January 2009, Bolloev became the vice president of Olympstroy-this state corporation was engaged in the redemption of land for the construction of Olympic facilities, and in two years of work two leaders were replaced there. In June, Bolloev became the third, and it was under him that the company moved from the design stage to the construction of most objects in the Olympic Park.

Olympstroy was liquidated in 2015. The County Chamber of Russia calculated that 324.9 billion rubles were spent on the construction of sports and auxiliary objects of temporary infrastructure, as well as the organization and holding of the Winter Olympiad in Sochi, of which only 103.3 billion rubles were federal budget funds. But later it became clear that in fact the money was spent much more. Basically, by allocation by banks with a state participation of special loans to companies engaged in the construction of Olympic objects.

For example, Vneshephonbank issued a guarantor under these agreements issued loans worth 240 billion rubles, which he subsequently recognized as irrevocable. In 2015, the state allocated 150 billion rubles to save the VEB.

Leaving the Olympic construction department, Tymuraz Bolloev returned to his projects and succeeded: he built the village of Townhaus under St. Petersburg, the Zhivniy Sochi residential complex and the St. Petersburg Business Center Bolloev Center. In light industry, things went even better: “BTK groups” quickly entered the list of suppliers of Russian law enforcement agencies. Now the company unites 12 factories, including one enterprise in South Ossetia and Belarus.

In 2012, President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev, with the filing of the Minister of Defense, Anatoly Serdyukov, appointed BTK Group the only supplier of uniforms for the Russian army.

Sergukov, who replaced Sergei Shoigu, did not like the previously developed uniform, but this did not prevent Bolloev’s company from continuing successful cooperation with the department.

Thanks to military orders, for example, in 2014, the company's revenue amounted to 29.3 billion rubles. Contracts with the Ministry of Internal Affairs, according to KOMALLAY.RU, brought BTK Group 1.3 billion rubles, with FSCU BC 55056 (FSB of Russia) - 844.3 million rubles, with the Prosecutor General - 332.2 million rubles, from the FSO - 56.9 million rubles.

In 2016, the Ministry of Defense filed a lawsuit against the BTK Group for 864 million rubles for violation of the deadlines for the execution of the order. In court it turned out that Bolloev’s company fell under the sanctions of the European Union and for objective reasons could not put the goods to the military in time. For the execution of the contract, the company purchased foreign equipment that made it possible to make products in five and eight layers of fabric, but German specialists refused to carry out the commissioning of the Federal Department of Economics and Export Control of Germany. As a result, the Moscow Arbitration Court reduced the size of the penalty to 3.716 million rubles.

The Government of the Rostov Region confirmed that they helped Taimuraz Bolloev’s companies receive registration certificates for products in Roszdravnadzor. The first batches of protective costumes have already been placed in medical facilities of the region.
