Quarantine was introduced from coronavirus at the Irkutsk oil and gold deposits

In two regions of the Irkutsk region, quarantine was introduced in deposits. Watchmen fell ill with coronavirus.

“The situation is very difficult today with watchmen in Ust-Kut-there are 56 people in a day. Several cases - in Bodaibo. From today, all movements of the shift workers should be suspended before a special order, ”the acting governor Igor Kobzev quotes his press service on May 14.

During the day, the number of infected in the regionincreased by 95 people - this is a record indicator. Most of the sick are shift workers from Ust-Kut (69 people).

“Quarantine is introduced on the territory of these deposits,” the regional government announced.

Through Ust-Kut, the shift workers are delivered to the field of the Irkutsk Oil Company (INC). Golders work in Bodaibo - here, according to Interfax, two sick people turned out to be employees of Verninsky GOK (belongs to Paul Polyus). Earlier, the outbreak of coronavirus occurred at another Enterprise Pole in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

In total, 475 cases of infection are confirmed in the Irkutsk region. 106 people recovered, six died.
