Liksutov allowed the return of car sharing when renting a car for at least five days

The Moscow government and Rospotrebnadzor are discussing a partial resumption of car sharing with the condition of renting a car for at least five days. This was announced by Vice Mayor Maxim Liksutov, his words are quoted by Interfax.

“That is, this offer is valid for those who have work passes,” Liksutov said, specifying that the work pass number will need to be indicated in the carsharing application.

According to the vice-mayor, the second condition will be "strict adherence to the recommendations of Rospotrebnadzor." Cars must be fully disinfected after each rental.

• Car rental services have been closed in Moscow since April 22. On May 7, Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, speaking about the extension of quarantine in the city until May 31, said: “We will not open car sharing.”
