But these are our people, things, for animals, spring is the time of continuation of the genus. This spring has become a real headache for private zoos and entertainment and cognitive parks, farmsteads with animals. How the owners of the "living" business in the Urals survive, I learned "new".

Sverdlovsk region

In April, many private zoos and farmsteads surrendered, one after another they wrote soulful appeals to friends and guests of their parks. They were explained and asked for help. The Aramilian "Park of Tales" , created based on Bazhov’s work, was no exception.

At the opening of the park four years ago, Vladimir Gerasimenko, the then mayor of Aramil, said that this project allows us to preserve the Ural culture and crafts, and touch local traditions.

They did not lag behind the regional government, connecting the development of domestic tourism in the country and the region, in particular, with this park. Today, the guide of the park, like many of their colleagues, turned to ordinary people with an outstretched hand.

“We only live by selling entrance tickets and conducting thematic holidays,” complains Alisa Larionova, director of the Park of Tales. - Many times we applied for state support, participated in grant competitions, but alas.

Recently we went to the regional fund for the support of entrepreneurs, which once supported our idea to open. But what can they now? They offered assistance in taking a new loan, and we have two currently currently paying.

According to Alice, the problem of visits began before the official start of self -isolation.

In early March, when it became clear that the threats of the pandemic was not an invention, people began to abandon already paid applications, visits were minimized. And then the activity of the park was completely stopped.

About a hundred animals and birds live in the courtyard. The horse is Cheburashka, a donkey of blueberries, two roe deer, eleven wild boars and boars, six sheep, twelve goats, two dogs, two cats, rabbits, hens, ducks.

Within a month, more than a hundred thousand rubles are spent on feeding animals. Sixty thousand is required to pay for round -the -clock protection. Debts for a communal apartment are growing. And at the same time, a period of processing the territory from ticks is nearing.

“At some point, we realized that we could no longer cope, the stocks are running out, and there is nothing to feed animals,” Alice recalls. - Fortunately, caring people responded to our request for help. Someone brought vegetables and food, someone transferred money.

I especially remember two girls who brought a whole feed machine.

“We have been collecting animal donations for a long time,” said Anna’s new volunteer.

- Today, many shelters and zoos were in distress, so we try to help as much as possible.

Anna admitted that volunteers have her difficulties. Just before the start of the self -isolation crisis, an unpleasant story happened to them. For a long time, they financially helped an animal shelter at Khimmash in Yekaterinburg. But once they bought a lot of food, brought to a shelter. The mistress that came out was indignant for a long time why she was brought food, not money. After that they did not go there anymore.

Well, in the "Tales Park" they accept any help with gratitude and are looking forward to the end of self -isolation. Oddly enough, but animals miss people, try to come closer to each person. Suddenly stole?

Perm Territory

In the Perm zoo, most employees work as usual on passes using protective equipment. Those who do not work directly with animals work from home. There were no volunteers in the zoo and before quarantine, only officially employed are allowed to animals.

At the time of isolation, the zoo is closed for visits, but it works online and shows the life of pets in photo and video formats in their social networks.

“Animals feel good, in general, the presence or absence of visitors on their lives does not much affect. Therefore, most pets have not changed the behavior, especially now spring and they have completely different concerns. In general, life flows its own way, ”said Anya Alikina, Zoopark, Zoologist at the“ new ”zoologist.

In the Perm municipal shelter, employees work in full force, but only five volunteers received admission. At the same time, the volunteer council claims that such a quantity is not enough to ensure the normal functioning of the shelter. They write to all instances, trying to achieve the admission of about ten people.

“We are ready to visit a shelter according to the schedule approved by the director of the institution, according to which volunteers will be divided into small daily groups. We ask you to allow access to the shelter of another 10-15 volunteers who, observing the social distance and other measures of protection from the virus, will fulfill their usual duties, ”the volunteers of the shelter in an open letter to the head of Perm Dmitry Samoilov turned.

But the administration believes that there are enough volunteers, and the shelter is working as usual. “In connection with the need to take measures to non -proliferation of a new coronavirus infection, the institution temporarily limits the visit by citizens and volunteers of the territory of the shelter.

Currently, the institution is attended by four volunteers who have properly issued permits to move around the city of Perm. Employees work in full force on a schedule, which allows us to ensure proper care for animals. Up to five workers and four veterinary specialists work daily, ”the administration explains.

At the time of quarantine, the shelter launched the action “Friend with home delivery”, you can choose a pet from the photo album and take it to yourself without leaving home. Employees of the shelter will bring a friend using all precautions.

The private mini-receive “Dog Kingdom” was created in 2019. Natalie and her husband are volunteer in the Perm municipal shelter. Later they began to take the dogs to themselves, but the places in the apartment soon stopped enough, and they decided to open a shelter. We bought land on credit and began to take sick dogs to survive.

Now one employee is working in the shelter and lives, who monitors 33 dogs, spouses go there every day. During quarantine, they continue to catch new dogs, but volunteering is not at all due to the self-isolation regime.

“During quarantine, it became even more complicated, since people are sitting without money, and prices rose. Unfortunately, we have no sponsors.

No one takes the last month for the dog, ”the dog kingdom explained.

In the shelter of the Matroskin cats, they told Novaya Gazeta that recently cases of abuse of animals have become more frequent, and someone completely throws cats into the street, mistakenly believing that animals are coronavirus carriers. Many are forced to abandon the pets due to a difficult financial situation.

“The pandemic, like any other emergency situations that happened to the shelter, showed us one thing - Permians are always ready to extend the hand of helping homeless cats, no matter how difficult they themselves are. And from this there is a lot of warmth in our hearts! We did not notice that animals began to take less, maybe even a little more, which means that the hearts of Permyakov are still open good, ”said Matroskina.

Fifteen volunteers with a tolerance work in the Matroskin shelter. Unfortunately, this number of assistants is not enough, so everyone is waiting for the end of the self -isolation regime and the opportunity to return to the usual rhythm of life.

Chelyabinsk region

80 kilometers from Chelyabinsk, in the village of Kumysny , is the Safari Park "Strazozopark" . With the advent of self -isolation, for more than a month, there are no visitors.

Of the inhabitants of the Safari Park: Siberian lynx Sonya, three large dogs of the Berne Zenenhunds and eight puppies, bear Michelle, three roe deer, camel affection, about a dozen ostriches, owls, foxes, raccoons, Nubian goats and countless ducks and rabbits. This is a far from an incomplete list of animals that need care and food.

“Before the start of self-isolation, we had some money,” says Elena Khakimova, the owner of the ostosezoopark. - We brought the car of oats. Dogs at us eat special food. We did not find money for a monthly volume. We decided to save, buy cheaper. But then the dogs were darkened, and they had to feed them with expensive food. At the same time, foxes were darkened, the foxes sucked their mother, we were forced to buy dog ​​milk. A jar of milk powder costs 700-800 rubles, it is enough for two days.

Together with the arrival of heat, ticks appeared. Buying dog tablets cost 6300 rubles. The territory also requires processing.

The bear eats porridge with milk every morning, separately fruits and fish. Instead of pink salmon, they began to buy her herring, fruit disappeared from the diet due to savings. Maximum one apple or carrot. She is very few.

- When I feed the bear, I ask her: “Michelle, where to put it”? - continues Elena. “She puts forward a bowl to me, and I put her food.”

And now we have been sitting on self -isolation for a month, I ask her where to put it, and she keeps the cup in her paws, I decided to pull the cup with her, and she roared, such as "anything, but not pour." It shocked me, and I told Marseille - it's time to ask for help.

“They began to ask our subscribers on social networks to help us,” says Marcel Khakimov, director of Safari Park. - Fortunately, we have a group in VKontakte, in Odnoklassniki, there is a channel on YouTube. People began to help, began to transfer money, bring food for animals. On April 30, representatives of the administration of the Chebarkulsky district even came to us, from their salaries they threw themselves to the aid of our animals. Subscribers are asking not to close the zoo, to stay with all their might.

According to Elena, spring in their zoo is the time of charity events. Orphaners and disabled people come here. For them, a visit is free.

“With the deaf there was a supervisor, he translated my story with gestures during the excursion,” Elena recalls. - And to those who do not see, I described how it looks. Suppose a rabbit is white, fluffy, and allowed them to stroke the animal. In wheelchairs, we drove into the aviary to ostriches, we took photos, and visitors left the happy. I hope we will be able to save all this.

"We had three weeks"

34 kilometers from Miass, in the village of Novoandreyevka, less than a year ago, Andrei Orlov and his brother created the only Zoododa contact zoo in Miass. On June 1, the zoo will turn a year.

Here live dog dogs, raccoons, turkeys, ducks, pheasants, rabbits, northern deer, Nubian goat, a donkey, a pig of the breed of the Hungarian mangalita and horse.

“Until the animals have changed,” says Andrei. - The diet remained the same. We have a small contact zoo. I work in the fire department of the Ministry of Emergencies. I spend a salary from the main work on animal feed, I try to pay the work on time to pay for the workers.

Coronavirus and self -isolation were a complete surprise for us. We had three weeks.

When the reserves began to run out, Andrei threw a cry on social networks.
“We made an announcement if anyone had vegetables in the cellars, share with our animals,” Andrei continues. Five people unsubscribed to us. They brought potatoes.

The zoo is located on a clean lake of Teren-Kul. The Orlov brothers on this reservoir built a tubing route. She was free.

“In winter, we flooded her, turned out to be a 6-meter slide,” recalls the owner of the Zoodoma. - The orphanages have always come to us for free. They took them on an excursion to the zoo, rolled in tubing, went on horseback. I arranged tea drinking. From the house, the baby also came to us. The guests from the center of veterans were also promised ... But quarantine violated all the plans.

Before self -isolation, the personnel of the Zoodoma totaled seven people with Andrei. Now there are four of them. At the same time, Andrei manages to pay all employees a full salary.

- Now I am all that I am earned to my employees. I cherish them, ”Andrei concluded.

In overexposure, everything is still

On the outskirts of Miass, almost at the forest there is the only shelter for homeless animals in the city. However, officially this is not a shelter, but a volunteer overexposure.

“Cats and dogs live here, which have fallen in a difficult life situation,” says Ekaterina Guseva, volunteer of the NGO “good hands” . -In the past, these are pets, which for some reason were sent to live in fresh air. At the moment, we have fifteen dogs and a dozen cats.

According to Catherine, animals come to them in different ways. Usually, people who have chosen an ownerless pet on the street bring.

“If a person brought an animal, he automatically becomes its curator,” the zoo defender explains.

- So, it helps the existence of the shelter - it comes to on duty, walks dogs, brings food, medicine. If necessary, a visit to the veterinarian also falls on his shoulders.

In other words, just picking up and bringing an animal to us is not all. We also have a job, there are families, and the volunteer overexposure is a hobby.

Volunteers in Miass are enthusiastic. There is a group in social networks, in which seven thousand people, but of active volunteers about twenty. The rest help to make reposts, collect small donations for feed, sterilization, etc.

Oddly enough, but the self -isolation mode did not affect the work of overexposure, even charity remained at the same level.

“Because of the quarantine, we suffered a subbotnik,” my interlocutor is a little upset. - Because after the winter there is always where to take. But since mass events are prohibited, we cannot invite people. I want everyone to be healthy, and there is no desire to endanger people. Therefore, we will wait for the end of self -isolation.

Tyumen region

In Tyumen, the zoo asks for help from residents - there is nothing to feed animals. If earlier, feed was bought from money proceeds from the sale of tickets, then with the introduction of quarantine this opportunity is no longer there.

The owners of zoos and nurseries have no choice but to ask for help and without hesitation to talk about the current situation for the sake of saving the tailed ones.

“We feed animals in that the townspeople bring, we solve the problem and go to the city, agree with the shops. Grocery stores help us. For example, once they presented 30 kg of cottage cheese, which is eaten by monkeys, and bears, and hedgehogs.

We interact with large retail chains, one of them makes contact, understanding our position, someone refuses to even talk. A great return on ordinary Tyumen residents, even pensioners come and pass the cereals that they had in stock. Buckwheat, for which there was a stir, is also transferred to us. We are glad to all: Valvyatin, and beef for predators, and frozen meat, ”said Eduard Kosynikov, the“ new ”administrator of the Tyumen zoo.

Entrepreneurs also responded to the call for help. Businessman Anar Veliev sent 100 kilograms of humanitarian aid to the Tyumen zoo at once: tomatoes, kiwi, apples, bell pepper. Anar says that his organization is ready to help those in need, while there is such an opportunity.

The transferred gift to the zoo will be enough for only two days: the pets are fed twice a day. Tomatoes eat boars, monkeys - fruits, camels and pigs prefer potatoes. Hay helps to survive camels, rams and other ungulates.

Now the Tyumen zoo still needs products: we need seeds and unmarled peanuts for parrots and exotic birds, potatoes, cat food, cereals, fruits and vegetables (especially bananas and grapes, including spoiled), hay and cereals. The situation remains difficult, and without the help of people the inhabitants of the zoo simply cannot survive.
