Programmer Sergei Kupreenkov was fined a thousand rubles for publishing a VKontakte video. The Leninsky District Court of Smolensk found him guilty of distributing extremist materials (Article 20.29 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). It is reported by Mediazona with reference to Kupreenkov.
The reason was the video with the band's song "You Must Murder". Kupreenkov explained to Mediazone that a video with the song “Sober, Proud and Dangerous” was published on his page, and another song by this artist called “Evil Russia” was banned by the Ministry of Justice.
In the case file, the police did not provide any evidence that the video was banned. Before drawing up a protocol, they came to Kupreyenkov's house and forced him to delete the video.
