
Rashevsky, according to the press service of the company, will remain in the Council of Directors of the SUEK and will be part of the board of directors of Eurochem.
“These decisions reflect the significant increase in the scale of the SUEC and its transformation into a diversified holding, including, in addition to coal production enterprises, logistics and energy assets,” the SUEK report explains. “Changes in the management structure are aimed at further strengthening the company's market positions and steady growth in operating efficiency, as well as at maximum synergetic effects both inside the SUEC and between SUEC and Eurochem.”

Stepan Solzhenitsyn is the son of the Nobel laureate, writer Alexander Solzhenitsyn. Solzhenitsyn Jr. graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Harvard University, specialized in regulatory and environmental aspects of energy. Since 2004, he worked in the Russian office of the McKinzi International Consulting Company, responsible for the direction of electric power and heat supply. Since 2018, he has been heading the Siberian generating company.
