Levada Center: A quarter of respondents reported abbreviations at work

A quarter of the Russians surveyed reported the reduction of personnel at their work against the backdrop of the Pandemia of Coronavirus. 15 percent of respondents are waiting for the reductions that can occur in the near future. This is evidenced by the data of the sociological survey "Levada Center".

More than a third of the survey participants reported a reduction in salaries, and 25 percent - about delays in payments at work. At the same time, half of the respondents believe that in the near future there will be no delays in salaries.

Residents of cities with a population of more than 500 thousand were the most affected by Pandemia of Coronavirus, sociologists report.

Levada-Center conducted a survey by phone from April 24 to 27. In total, 1608 interviews with Russians aged 18 years and older were held.
