Murmansk: A criminal case has been instituted against the ex-minister

The police do not name the name of the official, the media indicate the ex-head of the Ministry of Health

In the Murmansk region, the police opened a criminal case against the former head of one of the ministries, North. Reali was told by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Region.

The case of fraud on an especially large scale has been opened. In the accused’s office, searches were held, he was detained, and then sent on a recognizance not to leave. The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs refused to name the name of the accused, referring to the law on personal data. The department did not disclose the essence of the criminal case.

Local media, citing unnamed sources, argued that the accused in the case was the ex-minister of healthcare of the Murmansk region Valery Peretrukhin.

The criminal case was instituted in February 2020 of the ODA, the North. Reali was specified on May 15. In the Ministry of Internal Affairs then they could not comment on whether Peretrukhin participated in investigative actions.
