Novosibirsk: Parents of preschoolers demand the issuance of grocery rations

Participants in the public organization of large families of the Novosibirsk Region "Vector" prepared an appeal to the head of the region with a request to provide preschoolers related to preferential categories, food sets. Children who are deprived of the possibility of visiting a kindergarten due to an epidemic of coronavirus were in unequal conditions with schoolchildren, Siberia correspondent told one of the authors of the appeal, the head of a large family from Novosibirsk Andrei Andreev.

Parents of schoolchildren are issued by grocery sets, and large families, single mothers, families with children with disabilities and with the peculiarities of development are deprived of such an opportunity, the activist said. "We have no effective support of such families with preschoolers. We have debts of everyone, a whole car. Only in housing and communal services to be a debt with three or five zero. We say - we will support us directly. And we do not understand why some are exalted over others," Andreev said. As the activist emphasized, the parents have already written appeals to various instances, but "received only unsubscribes."

In April, a special resolution of the Governor of the Novosibirsk Region was adopted, according to which schoolchildren related to preferential categories are entitled to receive dry rations who should replace free hot meals.

"There is no such administrative document in relation to kindergartens and preschool education. Therefore, we have no right to distribute them soldering," Anatoly Lokot, mayor of Novosibirsk, said on the air of the radio station FM. The regional Ministry of Education of the editorial office explained that there are no legal grounds for issuing food sets to preschool children or compensation for free food. At the same time, officials emphasized that if the appropriate local law is adopted, then the dryers will also issue to the parents of preschool children.

Social activists note that such a practice exists in other Siberian regions. For example, in the Khabarovsk Territory, the cost of Sukhpike is calculated based on the cost of power in kindergarten in 10 days. If the appeal of large families in the name of the Governor of the Novosibirsk Region is ignored, activists will turn to the prosecutor’s office with a request to check where the funds allocated for food were spent on booze-and-soils in the period when kindergartens were closed due to coronavirus.
