Let the ill -wishers say that the authorities are manipulated with statistics, underestimating the number of sick and the dead, claim that more than 200 doctors died from coronavirus in Russia. Let them add that the varnishing of the situation, like an earlier chatter on TV, that coronavirus is not worse than the flu, lead to the fact that the population underestimates the real danger and behaves relaxed, which leads to sad consequences. We know that the claims of the authorities, that everything is honest and open, are true: the authorities never lied and do not lie to us, especially when it comes to the health of the people.

In general, there is a hope that, having served at home two or four weeks, most of us will be able to breathe in the air in full chest, put on a mask and go to work. Well, or immediately to the cottage-summer on the nose, but in the country and deeds are full, and you do not need to wear a mask.

However, throwing all his strength to the fight against coronavirus, getting to the hospital bed, as our prime minister, as a spokeswoman for our president, the highest leaders of our country also think about the bright future that will come after the victory over the insidious infection. While we are lying on the sofas, they make plans for the further development of the country.

Recently, a colleague called me, asked if I saw a new composition of the Presidential Council for Science and Education (SLU)? After I honestly admitted that he had not seen, he began to swear, saying that this was not advice, but some kind of party-assault with a certain Kovalchuk in the role of a gray cardinal, such a ceremonial composition of this highest scientific council, they supposedly never were. Almost half of the composition of SNW - director and rector, there are several former and current officials, the current and former presidents of the Russian Academy of Sciences, a couple of people from Kovalchuk, academician Onishchenko ... What are the serious, fateful decisions on science? What can they advise the president there?

I did not argue with my colleague - you can’t take the fifth column with any arguments, but looked at the composition of the Council. Mikhail Valentinovich and his people are wonderful, this is the key to continuing to move forward! Former chief sanitary doctor, academician Onishchenko, as well as the director of Vector - a tribute to time, almost inevitability in the era of pandemic. In general, where do not look, all the right people are necessary, useful, have, if not scientific, then huge administrative experience.

The man alone seemed a little suspicious to me: the acting rector of the Baltic Federal University. I. Kant Alexander Fedorov. The philosopher, although this is not surprising: if a person leads the university named after the great Kaliningrad philosopher Immanuil Iogannovich Kant, then it is logical that he is the successor of his work. And probably, now determines the direction of philosophical development at the university that is relevant from the point of view of the strategy of scientific and technological development of the Russian Federation.

Everything would be good, right, but the appearance ... This blond and thin Fedorov reminds me of a fanatical killer from the film “Da Vinci Code”, and his eyes are some kind of not very kind. No matter how he at a meeting of the Council of whom he cuts. However, I hope that the FSO will clearly work, if that.

Although I would, without waiting for a thin one, would have replaced him quickly. And I even know who: I would recommend that I Igor Ivanovich Sechin be included in the composition of SPU. You may be surprised: what does Sechin have to do with it?! But, colleagues, do not rush, do not rush! I myself would not so long ago would not have thought to recommend Igor Ivanovich in the PLA, but now I changed my mind. After all, it was he who performed at a meeting on the development of genetic technologies, where it turned out that Rosneft is very interested in the development of genetic technologies, that its work will be focused on the addition of the initiatives of key participants in the Russian genetic industry as a technological and organizational partner.

This filled my heart with joy: such a heavyweight as Kovalchuk already turned his attention to the development of genetic technologies, and now another heavyweight is in a hurry to help him. That's it now! So personally, I advocate the replacement of Fedorov with Sechin as part of the Supreme Scientific Council: now is not the time to philosophize at the highest level, time to roll up sleeves and do business!
