In the evening, police received a report of a drunk driver and left the police department to detain him. At a pedestrian crossing on Gagarin Street, a patrol car ran over a girl. The 21-year-old victim suffered injuries of “varying severity,” the department’s website says. Police officers assisted her until paramedics arrived. The regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs began an internal audit.
