The activists were detained on May 12, and protocols were drawn up against them under two articles: disobedience to the police (Article 19.3 of the Administrative Code) and violation of the “self-isolation regime” (Article 20.6 of the Administrative Code). The court acquitted the activists under the first article, but fined everyone under the second.

“Judge Moskvitina did not investigate - she spent no more than a minute on each person, and fined everyone: Sergei Popov - 5 thousand, Olga Vlasova - 3 thousand and Victoria Postnikova - a thousand rubles. Activists do not agree with such a superficial consideration of cases; all three will appeal to the Supreme Court. If he does not change the decision, he will go to the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation and the European Court of Human Rights,” Myraan said.

On May 12, security forces came to the home of a Yakut shaman and, according to Human Rights Postcards, forcibly took him to a psychiatric hospital.

Alexander Gabyshev intended to launch a third campaign to Moscow to “drive out Putin.” He began his first campaign in the summer of 2019, but soon he was detained on charges of calls for extremism (Part 1 of Article 280 of the Criminal Code) and sent back to Yakutsk.
