In the Ivanovo region, the police department in the Kineshemsky district opened an administrative case against the paramedic of ambulance Sergei Veselkov under the article on the spread of obviously inaccurate information under the guise of reliable (part 9 of article 13.15 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). It is reported by Open Russia on its Twitter.
“He turned to the group of Russian public organization Open Russia, which was subsequently published in a number of Internet sources in order to collect donations from banking cards for the acquisition of personal protective equipment from the ambulance station of the Kinesham Central District Hospital,” the police write in the determination of the initiation of the case.

The police plan to conduct an administrative investigation as part of this case. At the same time, law enforcement officers do not indicate what kind of information they considered inaccurate.
The reason for initiating the case was a video recorded as part of the Open Russia project to raise money for the purchase of personal protective equipment for doctors.
In the video, health workers talk about a lack of personal protective equipment. At the same time, they referred to information from the Ivanovo News portal, where the head of the Department of Health of the Ivanovo Region Arthur Fokin said that there is no stock of personal protective equipment in the event of a peak load in the region.
