Urgent technology development often caused discontent from both teachers and families of schoolchildren. Claims concerned the quality of education and domestic difficulties. For example, in one of the villages of the Perm Territory, schoolchildren had to climb to the tower in order to send their homework.

Due to quarantine for a month, the exam was postponed , and exams for the ninth grades were completely canceled. In some regions, students went on the summer holidays two weeks earlier than they should.
