The Unified State Exam (USE) should be held in Russia on June 29, but only those who plan to enter universities will be handed over. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The Unified State Exam will begin throughout the country on June 29, said Russian President Vladimir Putin on May 21. The broadcast of the meeting was conducted by the RT channel.

Only those who plan to enter universities in 2020 will be taken by the exam. The certificates will be given to the other graduates without exams, Putin noted. At the same time, those graduates who "for good reasons" will not be able to hand over the exam in June will be able to do this in August.

The exam will be held taking into account the social distance of 1.5 meters. The cabinets will be disinfected, and personal protective equipment will be given to schoolchildren, the Minister of Education Sergei Kravtsov assured.

Reception in universities will be held in August.

The exam was previously postponed for an indefinite period due to coronavirus. Exams for the ninth grades of schools were canceled.
