More than 12.5 thousand Siberians fell ill with coronavirus

The number of cases of coronavirus continues to grow rapidly in the regions of Siberia. The total number of deaths reached 140.

Over the past day, 9434 new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Russia, the Federal Staff said on May 23. The number is growing the third day in a row after the previous decline.

In Siberia, most cases are confirmed in the Krasnoyarsk Territory (148). In the Omsk region - 87, in the Altai Territory - 69, in the Tomsk region - 29, in Khakassia - 31, the Federal Staff said.

In Tuva, according to the administration of the republic, 52 new cases, 15 in the Kemerovo region, said in the regional government. In Transbaikalia - 31 more sick, in Buryatia - 19, they told the local operational headquarters.
