A case of fake news was opened against the author of the YouTube channel “Audio Articles” because of a video about the military entering Moscow

Pavel Ivanov, a Moscow-based blogger and author of the Audio Articles YouTube channel, has been charged with spreading fakes in connection with a video about the military and tanks being brought into the capital, which he has already partially refuted. about this Ivanov spoke on his channel.

The blogger was summoned to the police department in the Novogireevo district, where on May 25 a protocol was drawn up against him under part 9 of article 13.15 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (dissemination of knowingly false information on the network that created a threat of harm to the health and life of citizens). He is due in court soon.

In another video, Ivanov explains that the interest of law enforcement officers was caused by a video called “Urgent! Troops were secretly sent to Moscow! Quarantine or coup d'état!” published on March 26. In it, he collected several videos in which the military - in one video on buses, and in the other on tanks - allegedly go towards Moscow.

In connection with the video, on March 29, Ivanov was summoned for a conversation to the Investigative Committee, although the day before he issued a refutation: it turned out that the video with military equipment was filmed not in Moscow, but in Kazakhstan. In the UK, after giving explanations, he was released.

Lawyer Haji Aliyev visited the police department with Ivanov. “There were no consequences from this video, significant or posing a threat to public order,” commented Ivanov’s lawyer after visiting the police department. - The subjective opinion of an official about the commission of an offense resulted in the preparation of an administrative protocol. There were no logical chains between the plots shown in this video and the actual offense in this way.”

At the moment, the video, because of which Ivanov was called by the Investigative Committee and the police, is not available. The video has garnered over 700,000 views.
