Human rights activists have launched a program of protection against drug throws

The international human rights group "Agora" and the project "Zone of Law" launched the program " Factory 228 " to protect against provocations and falsification of drugs. Lawyers intend to study the materials of criminal cases with signs of drug throws and falsification of evidence.

Human rights activists are ready to do criminal cases after the court sentences, if the case file has signs of drug tossing, provocation or falsification of evidence, for example, the presence of classified witnesses. In court decisions of such cases, lawyers of organizations plan to prepare complaints to the European Court of Human Rights. In addition, human rights activists are ready to consider applications for torture, falsification of evidence and extortion of money by departments.

• According to human rights organizations, most of the convicts in Russia is located in the FSIN institutions precisely for drug crime. "120 thousand people are right now serving a sentence for drug trafficking - this is 28% of the total number of convicts. In 2019, almost 78 thousand people were brought to criminal liability in 2019. At the same time, 53 security officials were condemned for falsification of evidence in 2019," Agora lawyers lead the numbers.
