Judge of the Vasileostrovskiy District Court Daria Ten assigned 50 hours of compulsory work to Dmitry Negodin, who was detained on May 25 during a rally in support of the defendants in the Network case. about this Negodin wrote on his page on VKontakte.
The court found him guilty under the article on repeated violation of the rules for participation in a public event (part 8 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). According to the police, Negodin participated in pickets on Senate Square.
Negodin himself claims that he was broadcasting the arrests of picketers and did nothing illegal. With the poster, he only planned to take a picture: according to him, this was necessary for publication in support of the defendants in the St. Petersburg case of the Network.
“I decided to make a publication on this topic, but I needed a picture, so I drew a poster and went for a rare portion of solar vitamin D for me. But before I had time to take a picture with a poster, the police dashingly drove up to me and took me to the local police department No. 2,” writes Negodin on his page on VKontakte.
